Celia Moore

Researcher, Consultant

Celia Moore is an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at London Business School. Her current research examines how ethics are managed and manipulated at the individual and organizational level, recently focusing on the relationship between individual integrity and career advancement.

Prior to joining the faculty at London Business School she spent eight years in human resource management consulting. At Work-Life Harmony Enterprises, she coordinated the Executive Work-Life Roundtable, a national community of HR professionals committed to building and sharing expertise on how companies can gain a competitive advantage by supporting employees while they manage their multiple responsibilities. Consulting projects included advising the federal government on how support families caring for gravely ill children without fear of sudden income and job loss, working with Human Resources Development Canada to develop a national clearinghouse on work-life issues in Canada, and with ChildrenFirst—a provider of high quality backup child care—to build their first centre in Toronto.

Prior to her association with Work-Life Harmony Enterprises, Celia spent five years at Catalyst, a New York-headquartered nonprofit that works with business to advance women. While there, she spearheaded Catalyst’s entry into Canada, which opened a Toronto office in June, 2000, and conducted two studies which provided the first baseline measures of women in the boardrooms and executive suites of corporate Canada.

She earned her B.A. in Philosophy from McGill University and holds Master's in Public Administration from Columbia University. Her doctoral work was undertaken at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
